I am wondering if the trailers from the factory are steel or aluminum? Who makes them and if anyone has a picture of one without boat on.?
Thanks a lot
Eric Hughes

The trailer for the R27 from the factory is an EZ Loader aluminium tandem axle.

Hi Eric. I just picked up my trailer from Ranger Tugs 3 weeks ago for a R21 Classic that I purchased down in CA. They are currently getting their trailers from EZ Loader in Spokane, WA and mine is aluminum. You won't be disappointed. I get as many compliments on the trailer as I do on the tug. I'm both a fresh and salt water boater. The bunks will be configured properly for your model tug. Surge brakes and bronze brake fittings for salt water trailering. I was thankful for them when I locked her down going thru Flagstaff, AZ with an Elk wondering why I was on his road at 5 AM.

Eric, on the 27 the brakes will be Electric over Hydraulic. A plug and play operation for late model trucks with built in brake operators.

As GA Midnight says:"You will not be disappointed"

My 27 rides on a "Float On" aluminum trailer...made in Vero Beach FL. Very high quality 2 axle w/ elec. over hydraulic brakes. Search Float On...there are a number of posts.

Eric,
Mine is the same as Phil's, Float on. A great trailer and great people to work with. Practically everything on it is aluminum and what isn't is stainless with the exception of a few things.
