Hi There

Could you please tell me where we can download the owners manual for the 2018 Ranger 29 CB?

Also, we're hoping to head out in the boat for a couple of days this afternoon and cant get the cook top to work. The gas tanks are full and turned on. The inside switches (valve and power) but the burners wont ignite. Using a gas lighter they will start while the stove taps are depressed but after the stove taps are released (even after holding for 30 seconds) they go out.

Thanks,

I can help with the manual part. If you go to forum index, ranger technical bulletins, you will find archived documents there.

Not sure about the stove as I don't have a propane stove on my boat.

Is there an updated R29 Owners Manual available? The one that I saw in the archives is a bit out of date. I thought I heard the factory was working on a new version.

Thanks!
Tom

I believe there is. Ive been in touch with our dealer and Ranger H/O. So hoping for an answer in the next day or 2.

That's great news. Please let us know if you hear more about it's release. Sure would be nice a current manual to reference.

Thanks!

I was glad to see the new R29 owners manual was recently posted. I noticed that it shows a raw water line into the head and I was under the impression that the newer R29s are now freshwater heads. Can someone please confirm that this is the case.

Ranger Tug Andrew posted that he is working on 3 manuals and noted the order they were coming out in, but not when they were coming out. I can't find that post now.

When looking at the home page look to the left hand column under attachments---

Ok, next one to be released! Cutwater 242 next, Ranger 27OB and then R23.

The R29S/CB manual just released is a job well done, thank you Ranger Tugs. I've heard that Fluid Motion has hired someone to work specifically on manuals, moving forward, which should speed the process up considerably for those models of RT and CB without one.

Hello Tom, the R29 is still a raw water toilet. The pick-up for this is located in the engine room on your multi-port strainer.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,

Tim

I too love the Owners Manual posted here on Tugnuts for my R29S. It has a lot of good information. I Downloaded it, printed it, and took it to Office Depot and had it bound. For $6.00, it looks very professional with the other boat documents I have on board.
Thank You, Fluid Motion.
Rocky
