Ranger Manuals?

Hi All,

I brought back all the literature I could find on our boat but there is no sign of a Ranger 29 manual or wiring schematics. I asked the broker to check with the seller if there was any more paperwork. In the meantime I ask you all. If a manual was included maybe there was a special nook that I haven't found where it was stored. There was a Ranger zip folder with lots of product information. The Garmin setup had it's own smaller folder and there were some plastic sheets with fuse and control locations but that's all I could find.

Jeff,

The R-29 Manual that you can download from this site may not be specific to your R-29. Ladybug, Too is the 6th R-29 built and the wiring diagrams and components are not the same as in the manual. Another point to consider is that you may have options not addressed in the manual. We have developed our own diagrams specific to Ladybug, Too but have not made digital files yet. Best thing to do is take what is available on this site and mark it up to your particular R-29. Most of the manual is pretty good on the location of the thru hulls and some accessories. Just be aware that Ranger makes changes and improvements as the models develop. We had a lightning strike so we had to trace every electrical circuit from stem to stern just to make sure there were no burned wires. There are some pretty tight spots but all in all we really like our R-29.

Thanks for the information. The on-line manual is pretty nice but I still will try to get a hard copy.
