The new Ranger R-23 is having its debut today at the Vancouver International boat show. It would be nice if someone attending the show could post some photos to this site/ranger FaceBook page for those of us interested in seeing the final product. My wife and I will be attending the Miami show in February to see the R-23 and will be posting some photos then but hope to see some sooner.

Some photos have now been added to the PDF download of the specs for the R-23 on the Ranger Tugs web site.

What a teaser, cannot wait to see more pictures of the whole boat...

Wonder what top speed and top speed handling is like . Will be interesting

It's true... I just finished posting photos to the website. 🙂

WOW!!! 😎

I love it, as is, with the Yamaha outboard! I think Ranger Tugs hit it out of the park! Could be the nicest boat under 24' that I have seen in a long time. I could foresee best of show as a result.

As I expected the boat has an interior space much like the Cutwater 24, but with even more character.

I would be interested in seeing what the performance figures are with the Yamaha 200.

Looks like it gets up on plane quite nicely but will have to wait for the performance numbers. Those pushbuttons at the helm look rather small to me. Love the curved windows.

Man that is really pretty!

But I think the lines of the boat make it look alot bigger than it is. You have to look at the ones with people in them to get a sense of scale. So from a designer's perspective, this looks like an impressive success.

I'm still glad I didn't wait and ordered my 27.

Beautiful shots, Sam. Looking forward to seeing her at the Seattle Boat Show.

Congrats on the best of show at the Vancouver International Boat Show! 😀

After seeing more of the photos and giving the it more thought, I'd like to have one of the new R-23s. It would be OK with the Yamaha and a bow thruster. I'd prefer twin counter-rotating 100 hp o/b's without a bow thruster. The only other thing I might want would be radar. It would be more appealing, visually, with a R21 EC profile. However, even as it is now presented, I'm tempted to trade-in my R21EC.

b/t/w, I ran a couple of Yamaha 115 counter-rotating o/b's on a Rosborough RF-246 for a couple of years; Yamaha makes nice engines.

Nice ,would like to see it in person, maybee they will be at boat shows on east coast.

Will the R-23 be at the Trawler Festival in Riviera Beach, Florida later this week?
