Great pictures David, thanks. Just one question. Will the dinette conversion do for a sofa? Seems I heard that is what you really want in your next boat 😀 .

Karma: Post your Website link/URL please.... 😀 ...as I'd love to see all the R-31 pics (missed going to the Seattle Boat show... 🙁 )

Thanks Patrick.... photos great... sure would like to view a video of the upper deck retracting -- is it manual or power retraction I wonder ?

The first one is manual , with power assist in the works .
Here is a link to some shotsI took before the show .
Ill edit more later .
We will have the first East Coast R 31 at the Miami Boat Show ,
As usual contact me for tix . We will be at Sea Isle Marina , and there is no cost to go there .

Thanks.... nice photos... but still cannot fathom how that upper deck folds up for trailering. 😉

Barry - the canvas facing comes off. Support legs are removed. The upper section of the flybridge is hinged at the rear corners on the port and starboard side, like a clam shell. It simply lowers to the top of the cabin.

Cheers

Bruce

Thanks Bruce... seems like a good simple engineering solution. I did notice the canvas facing in one of the photos and that gave me a clue of sorts. You've clarified it for me. 🙂

How's that R-29 doing.... you lucky fella. 😀

I have posted additional photos on our website; Rangertug25-Solitude.com

David: You have a typo error in your photo shoot...

"The interior is very much along the same lines as the R-21 with just a couple of small changes,..."

The R-21 should be R-29 I believe..... 🙂

I wonder what the R-31 looks like with the flying bridge retracted/hinged-down and stowed with canvas covering it for its protection ?

Does the R 31 come with bird on top of the mast or is that an option?

Well, If you are in an uncovered slip...... the bird could become a permanent fixture (right Bruce......). Otherwise, you will have to order it as an option......

OK, David. We can't help it if that Great Blue took a liking to our bimini. Sure would be nice if an R31 moved into our marina. Much nicer perch.
