Would anyone know where the ranger tugs will be at the Seattle boat show? I only have a few hours to be there, and want to be sure to find them.

We are in the "Main Hall" and booth number is West 41. We have all of our models there including all Cutwater models. Hope to see you there!!

I went to the show today, and appreciate how many boats were there. I have obviously not been following Ranger Tug too closely the last few years, but I was very surprised at the new line up of boats. I expected semi-displacement mini trawlers, but found outboard powered planning boats (at least in 23 and 27 size). I suspect that better matches how people use the boats (more range on a weekend) and the sales guy said the 23 sold well last year, but it is not the boat I am looking for. I already decided that the r25 classic fits me better than the sc, but it is unfortunate the style is no more.

I presume this has been discussed at length here, but a quick search did not show much.

A number of R25-SC tugs have been traded in to the factory by owners wanting a faster boat (I'm one of them). You have an opportunity to a buy a late model boat at discount. The SC version allowed for better engine placement and also a better cockpit. We put a full canvas cover on our 25 and spent most of the time there when the boat wasn't moving.
