Good day folks!

I am looking to purchase a trailer for my 2010 Ranger Tug R25 Classic.

A few questions;

1) Does anyone have a trailer they are willing to part with?
2) Does anyone have a suggestions for dealers familiar with configuring trailers for Ranger Tugs, preferably in British Columbia or Washington State?
3) Any brand of trailer I should be considering.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Anthony

Can't help with dealers. EZ Loader and King both make great trailers. Only useful suggestion I can add:

1) If you plan on doing any significant amount of towing, do not size the trailer based on "book" weight of the boat. It is wise to size up about 1500 lb or so to accommodate real world loaded weight plus a bit of cushion.

2) If you will be launching routinely in salt water demand that they put all stainless steel brakes, not ss calipers only. You want ss calipers AND rotors. It will likely cost and extra $1000 but will repay many time over. The various coatings availalbe for the rotors are pretty much useless.

Anyone use a gooseneck trailer? Do they reduce sway?

The only goose necks I've ever seen were on larger commercial fishing boats on modified low boy trailers. Typically on boat trailers the long tongue is needed for launching. For that reason you rarely see sway bars either. Plus goose necks are typically used to eliminate problems with tongue load. With boat trailers the long tongue and/or shifting the position of the boat on the trailer can usually accomplish that.
