Rudolf,
It's great to have you on board. Just to let you know Jeff Messmer takes full credit for us buying our boat but the credit belongs to the Tug and I am sure you will experience the same thing. All the best and congratulations hope to see you in the Seattle area some time you can join us for dinner in Anacortes.

Just kidding Jeff, just kidding.

Thank you for sharing the photos. I was in Stavanger years ago while in the United States Navy. I had a fantastic time while there. Good luck with your business and please keep the photos coming.

Great pictures Thanks

Wonderful to know about you!

My son travels to Norway sometimes and has just purchased a 25SC. He keeps telling me about the great boating in Norway so maybe someday if there are rentals he will take his friends out!

Hopefully the boats will find happy homes there as they do here in the Pacific Northwest!

Best wishes!

This is pretty cool. How do the boats get shipped to Norway and what's the ballpark price (if you care to share)?

The boats get shipped from Tacoma - to Germany by freighter/ship , and from Germany by truck to Stavanger.

Regards to pricing - it all depends on the oilprice 😉 you could roughly say around 10.000 - 20.000 dollar +

The photos of Norway look amazing...you need to do 'charter' trips for us American's who need some culture enhancing! I would love to cruise the Fiords in a Ranger Tug!

That sloping canvas is going to be a turn off for many people... It needs to be redone with bows so that there is standing headroom all the way to the transom...
Glad to see enthusiasm for an American made product over there...

Denny - that is a Slant Back Cockpit Cover and is a $2100 option for the R21. It is meant for storage, not cruising. IMO it is a good idea but a little pricey.

I agree, but then it wouldnt be called a slant back cover - there is an option for full cover.

This covers is just for protection , when you dont use the boat - its a lot cheaper option than going for a full cover. 🙂

Thank you , all the best to you to 🙂

The term"Slant Back Cockpit Cover" is Ranger's name for it. Not mine. I copied it directly off the Ranger Order Form.
