Finally, our first post.....We spotted the Ranger Tug Green in color , a 27 I believe. It was all buttoned up sitting in a guest slip in Des Moines Marina. The name was Three Cheers, hailing from Rumson ,N.J

Spotted a Laurene Green R29 in a marina in Goodland, FL and a blue R25 in the Legacy Marina at Ft. Meyers. My menory is failing, don't recall the boat names. 😱

I met the soon to be owner of a Ranger Tug last year in Rumson. He was standing on his dock chatting with me while we were cruising by and enjoying the scenery. This sounds like him. Can't wait to see another tug in the area. There is also a 21 based on the Navesink that we saw last year.

We were moored in Gig Harbor this weekend and spotted a fellow tugger coming into the bay... didn't have the binoculars out so we don't know who it was?? Any ideas?

Hi,

It could have been Harbor Ranger, they said they were out on Saturday. They are moored at Pleasure Craft Marina as we are.

The green R27 belongs to a fantastic couple that purchased the boat from our dealer in NJ but took a factory delivery of it and cruised up north with it. They were gone for close to two weeks and had a great time. I had it in Des Moines awaiting their arrival and it is there again awaiting the haul out. I am sure everyone will meet them soon so they can talk about their trip.

We are the owners of the Green 27 (three Cheers) from New Jersey, Peggy and Dennis Nitka that were in Seattle, during May taking a factory delivery. Our experience was outstanding which included our new boat waiting for us in the water in absolutely perfect shape when we arrived. Leaving Des Moines Marina the next day after arrival, we proceeded to cruise the San Juan's (5 great stops), going into Canada at Sidney, where we got the engine 50 hour service done outstanding service from the Sidney dealer there), then thru the Gulf Islands to Nanimo, over to Princes Lousia, north to Lund and a couple of days in the Desolation Sound area. After that, we went back down to Pender Harbor and Vancover, over to Victoria, across the San Juan's (more great spots), Anacortes, Seattle and Gig Harbor and Tacoma and then returned to Des Moines (where all we had to do was dock the boat and Ranger took care of the rest). We had a fantastic trip and the 27 got us there in wonderful comfort and allowed us to see the many wonderful spots we wanted to see in our limited amount of time. One week later we are looking forward to getting the boat back east (all arrangements being made by Ranger). The people we met along the way were super and we are looking forward to our next trip (hopefully in Northern Maine in September)

Congratulations on your new boat. Sounds like you had a fabulous trip and what a great way to get used to the boat. Your journey took you to many of the spots we will be exploring this summer. We get our new R-29 this weekend and I can't tell you how excited we are. Enjoy your trip home and your upcoming journeys.

Cheers

We sighted the 27' Ranger Tug "Three Cheers" this morning in Highlands, New Jersey. We were excited to see and meet it's owner Dennis, its the second Tug we have spotted in over 1600 miles of our cruise north from Ft. Pierce, Florida we started two months ago.

Looking forward to seeing Three Cheers! Our R25 is a hop and a skip from the Highlands down a little creek named Thornes Creek off of Raritan Bay. Although you won't likely see us out there before Sunday, but rest assured there are other Rangers around!
