We have about 150 hours the commodorizer now. My 11 month review is, it’s not perfect. It does a good job of keeping the lav smelling better, especially with frequent use. Smell of slight chlorine. However, if the boat sits with raw water in for a couple of weeks, the first flush still has some stank to it. Also, it’s not metering enough to really knock down all odor from the holding tank after it’s sat awhile.
Our standard practice is pump out early and often. And pump out after you have a clean lav smell. We also fresh water flush the tank if it’s available.
I haven’t noticed any degraded performance on the pump itself. The membrane and action appear fine.
