Raw water strainer bolt?

Wow, was floating my C30 at a marina. Thought I'd snug down the raw water strainer bolt on my C30. It's just a plastic finger nut.
YA!!!! the bolt broke! Good thing the shutoff is right there 12" away.

Can this brass bolt be replaced by itself?
I cannot call FM today due to phone issues at work.
However, I found brass threaded rod (M10 x 1.5 x 250mm) that is inexpensive at Amazon. Can I make my own?

I called and was told I had to purchase the whole strainer...very $$$.
