Definition of tugboat: noun. a small powerful boat designed for towing or pushing larger vessels.
Definition of nut: noun. an enthusiast; buff

My theory is that most of us bought a Ranger tug because in addition to it being a great vessel, we also have an affinity for the hard working tug and tow boats we see on the nation's waterways. Treat yourself or a friend to a copy of my new book, Gentlemen of the Harbor: Stories of Chesapeake Bay Tugboats and Crews: Described by several reviewers as "An homage to tugboats that will tug at your heart." Check out this Ranger 25 SC owner's web site at www.gentlemenoftheharbor.com to order a book or other tug related tugnalia. Happy Holidays!

I got the book....enjoyed thoroughly. Good photos and a great read. Highly recommended.

Check out the Book's review in this month's British magazine, SHIPPING Today & Yesterday: "An interesting, unique book, highly recommended to anyone with an interest in tugs and towage." "Well researched historical vignettes illustrated by crisp black and white photographs."
