I want to realign my hatches to face forward. What is the recommended caulk to use?
Thanks, Kent

There should be no caulk, just a EPDM gasket. If you want to replace what is on there now, it is available at Home Depot. I seem to remember it is about 5/16" high and maybe 3/8 wide, self sticking. Run two strips around and stager the joints. The critical part will be to make sure you make the tight radius turn stick to the hatch lip properly. If it does not that can be a potential leak source.

Thanks so much!!

You can use gasket and it will help, but it won't hurt to use seam seal on the inside seam to help keep the hatches from leaking. At ranger we use Sikaflex 291. Definitely use sealant on any screws you have to install as well.

Thanks. I just realigned the hatch over the helm but did not put any sealant on the screws. Will follow up on that. The gasket seemed to be in good condition.
