I've seen posts about recalibrating fuel flow but nothing on engine temps. if the Yanmar display is reading almost 30 degrees higher than a laser temp gun on the output of the heat exchanger, is there a way to re-calibrate the display output?

Thanks,
Bob

I would rely on the Yanmar before I would the laser. The sensor for the temperature is at the block and I am sure that where you are checking will be much cooler. I am not as familiar with the 6 cylinder temperature ranges, but depending on RPM on my 4BY2 I get between 196 at 2,500 RPM and 204 at WOT.

Thanks. Good advice!
