We purchased this R-23 a few months ago site unseen. Was delivered to our Marina today and it has exceeded our expectations! Attention to detail amazing. The accent lighting that is never mentioned is amazing. Quiet. Is the Yamaha running? The Marina guys were all over it, checking out all the systems. They have seen it all and this is no second fiddle.

Will have a full orientation this Friday and will give you more thoughts after that.

If anyone would like to see or take a ride in the R-23 we are in Marlboro, NY.

All that good stuff you hear about Ranger Tugs, believe it. Thank you Andrew and the Ranger Tug crew.

Congratulations, an exciting day to be sure!

Congrats! Can't wait to hear more of your thoughts on the boat as you get to it. Also which options did you end up choosing?

You'll be so happy! This is a wonderful boat, and the company behind it is first rate. Congratulations!

Heavily optioned. Did not opt for under water lights or trailer.

Congratulations! The 23 looks like a real beauty. Would be interested to hear how she handles in moderate swell and chop. Have fun!

Congratulations on your new 23. I took delivery last Thursday. Now maybe you can take some videos of your boat at speed! BUT remember to read the break-in of the engine from the Yamaha manual. The first hour you do not exceed 2000 RPM’s. Now on a 27’ that’s mid-teens MPH. On the 23 it 7-8 MPH, tedious! And the internal computer stores the history. After 4-5 hours you can bring it up on plane for a bit and after 10 hours you can play away. Vary your speeds up and down during the break-in. She is quiet, smooth and responsive. IMO, the bow thruster is under powered and extremely loud. I still love it though.
Good luck,
John
