Recommendations wanted for middle Puget Sound cruise

La Connor north of Everett is a great place with a cute little town. current can be a bit of a challenge at the dock so watch out.

One minor recommendation, since it's on the schedule: pump out whenever you get a good chance. We have recently encountered several pump outs around Puget Sound that were broken or closed while undergoing pre-season maintenance.

That is much more tolerable when the light is barely-yellow as opposed to just-turned-red!

These are all fun ports, I've been to all except Port Orchard. I think 10 ports in 13 days sounds very ambitious and not very relaxing. If you like being on the run every day, then this looks great as you don't have to travel too far each day. Personally, I would cut this down to 5-6 ports and enjoy a couple nights at each place, that way you will have more time to relax, meet your neighbors and get to know the area better. Just my .02 cents. Have a great voyage!

Sitting at home after a great 12 night cruise around the middle Puget Sound! Amazing weather - only two days with some scattered showers. Only one day of short distance cruising with small craft warnings up. No crowds at all. Mostly empty guest docks despite the great weather.
Kept to the planned itinerary. Enjoyed all the stops. Loved Blake Island State Park!! Probably should have switched out Port Orchard for Port Townsend though.
Observations about this cruising area: Lots of great little towns on the islands with good restaurants, friendly marina staff and easy provisioning. Lots of dolphins spotted, more than we’ve ever seen in a single cruise.
I’m AMAZED at how protected the waters are with so few logs to dodge! Nothing at all like our favorite cruising grounds, the Gulf Islands, in those respects.
Boat ran perfect, other than a few minutes to fix a loose fresh water hose that happened sitting on the dock. Towing it the 550 miles up to Everett was easy. Really glad we did the cruise and look forward to being back in the San Juan’s in two weeks for another shorter (8 day) cruise!
Thanks again to everyone for their input!
