I am thinking about selling my Cutwater 26 next summer to move up for a larger boat that will handle grandkids. Can anyone recommend a boat broker in the Anacortes-Bellingham area that could help me sell the boat? Any advice would be appreciated. Bill

If you go with a broker make sure that if you sell the boat privately yourself that the Broker is AOK with that and will not charge a fee for you doing that. I sold my R-25 privately while having it listed with a Broker and made darn sure he understood my position on a possible private sale outside of his Brokership company. They quite likely will not like this addition to any contract you sign with them.

It's kind of like selling your house privately rather than through a Real Estate agency.... not exactly the same, but you get the idea, right ?

Give Matt at Bellingham Yacht Sales a call. He knows Cutwater boats and they are the Cutwater dealer in the area. I bought my boat from Matt earlier this year and found him to be curteous and professional.

The Anacortes Boat Show is online right now. There are a number of brokers available with Cutwater listings. You'll see pictures of boats to identify them. If you're interested you can connect with them live for an interview and to learn about their services.

We bought our 29 Ranger Tug from Tom Gilbert at Cap Santa Yachts in Anacortes. He was great to work with and he sold another tug last year at about the same time we bought ours.
