RED LIGHT UNDER HELM

I just bought a 2016 C30. There is a single red light mounted under helm and to the right of spot lght controls. It has come on once, I thought with ignition. But hasn't again. Can't find it in any of the paperwork from old owner and he doesn't remember what it's for. Mounted with square drives. Does anyone have this?

I think when on it indicates one, or both of, the gull wing seats in the cockpit is deployed or not completely closed. We had such a light on our R-31. They shouldn't be out when underway.
