Refrigerator advice

When 12v power is restored after being off for three weeks (main battery switch turned off) the refrigerator is not cooling. Batteries are full (charger is operating fine). Checked circuit breaker ok, there is power to fridge as the inside light is coming on. Temp selector is turned up (down?). Any other simple things I should check before I consider replacing it? I forget the brand, possibly nova-cool? Also, suggestions for replacement if necessary (same model)? Thx.

We have a Nova Kool R4500 in our 2017 C-28. The thermostat died about 2 years ago. Same symptoms you are having. Bought new thermostat from Nova Kool for about $50 shipped. Very easy to install the new one.
But FIRST, if you have a Nova Kool, call their Tech Support (604) 523-6515 and talk to them. They were very helpful in going over the troubleshooting steps.

You know, I kind of suspected the thermostat. When turning the temp knob I could not hear the usual “click” when it passed the engagement point. Thank you very much for the info.
