Reinstalling Thruster - Sealant?

I'm reinstalling a new gear leg in the bow thruster tunnel and am thinking of using 3M 4200 on the gasket.....thoughts?
 
I recently installed a seized bow thruster on my 2019 R23... used 3m 4200 .. not 5200... I believe 5200 is for installations that need permanent installation that will not need replacement in future--- I Expect my Lewmar bow thruster will only last 4-5 years due to past poor performance of unit gear case seal cap.
