Could use the help of any of the many electronics whiz kids (and older) out there!
So I hope to put a video screen against the port side rear window in my R25sc. I will be porting wxga 1280 x 800 native res imagery to this location. I am looking for a largish screen (bigger is better up to 20") that is low voltage. I don't have a lot of thickness available (about 2"). I was thinking a laptop might work supported against window or the screen from a laptop. Any electronics engineers advice about how to do this (or better yet buy it)? I would be using HDI or HDMI cabling. I could make the housing if the electronics (screen, inputs and power) are easily solved. I am capable of making the housing but the electronics side is beyond my ken. This is part of the seemingly never ending electronics update saga. New radar, sounder, transducer and most of AIS are completed, finally.
