Hello All,

Anyone know of a good ( and hopefully environmentally friendly) cleaner to get the diesel soot off my inflatable,
which resides on the swim step? It's very stubborn stuff, seems to penetrate the surface of the fabric. It's a Ranger dinghy, came with the the Tug and is, I presume Hypalon rather than vinyl.

Thanks!

I've had pretty good results with Amazon Inflatable Boat Cleaner. Not as easy as spray on and wash off as advertised, I wash it with a medium 3M pad.

Mr Clean Magic Eraser cleans the stains well. After cleaning I use 303 protectant this helps protect the tubes from UV. At least that is what I was told. I use it because it makes the tubes shine!

I have found GOJO Citrus Hand Cleaner to be very easy. It's available in most auto parts stores. Simply rub it on, let sit for a few minutes and rub it off. That easy and it even smells good.

We use Barkeepers Freind. It also works great on the stainless steel rails and stanchions, and removes rust marks on the white fiberglass.
