Wondering how many 2016 Rendezvous trailer'd boats are slinging in at Cap Sante in Anacortes
on Wednesday 9-7-16.
I am single handing and like to have an interested party (my sweetheart or other boat owner) there when slinging in.
I'll be parking the rig while the boat is slinging and docking - by slightly dis-interested workers - they generally good people but....... (slinging out is OK - because I am there helping).
If you want to know who, what and how many - I'll compile the info and post it:
send me an email or reply to this post with: boat/size and number of your people on hand at dock and maybe boat name like:

R25, Keep On Tuggin, one person

Thanks, Barry 'Keep On Tuggin'

Hi Barry,
My husband will be doing the same thing! He plans to sling in at Anacortes sometime Wednesday late morning. This will be his first time solo with our C-26.
He is off (on the boat with friends) this weekend and doesn't always keep up on Tugnuts.com. His email is nadelldvm@yahoo.com in case you guys want to coordinate something.

Bellingham has a very inexpensive ramp fee and no charge for extended parking. I'm just saying.

Alice-j will be putting in on Wednesday, I too am single handing from Florida via Sitka AK.

If you purchase your out ahead of time when you are going in there is a savings... The nice thing with the sling is A) your trailer does not go for a salt water swim and B) you get the boat nice and tight to the post at the front of the trailer on the out.. I found the help there very helpful ..

Bellingham has a nice rinse off area after you use the ramp and we have good brakes. Plus we have an aluminum trailer with stainless hardware. 7 dollars to launch and retrieve, free water to spritz everything off. What is it 75 dollars to sling in? Another 75 to sling out? What ever floats your boat.

Looks like my original post is taking an unplanned direction.
My note was directed to those of us that are committed to slinging at Cap.
Wanted to know how many boats will be slinging at the same time.

Given the choice of ramp launch vs slinging, I most always choose slinging:
Our boat lives in our driveway in Anacortes, so it is a no-brainer for me to sling for $52 round trip (for an R25).

Driving From the north (going south) to Bellingham might be a good deal, but driving north though Anacortes to Bellingham to save maybe $30 while taking 3-4 extra hours would not be so good. Just depends on where one is coming from and where they are going.

My goal is: less work/time for more pleasure time on the water.
ramp launch/recovery is work plus fees, and may include trailer rash and paint scrape loss, etc.; towing the boat is work plus fuel cost with ware 'n tear; rinsing the trailer after each dunking is work; salt water dunking does not promote longer trailer life no matter how much it is rinsed: and all are time consuming - hours vs minutes. slinging takes about 10 minutes.

Hope we can now get back to the intent: how many Rendezvous boats are slinging in at Cap on Wednesday 9-7-16?
