Repainting Cost

I got an estimate four months ago here in Annapolis to Awlgrip my R27 blue hull and "eyebrows" for $12K. A $3.5K wrap looks pretty inviting in comparison...or 2 polish/wax jobs per year for 10 years...maybe some Home Depot flat black applied with a roller so she looks like a real tug.

I like the idea to make our tugs look authentic. With no more waxing we will have much more time to do the fun stuff of boating. I think you are on to something.

Hmmm...flat black .... a stealth tugboat might be cool.

Of course, I'll call it "matte" black at the yacht club bar and in the eventual Yacht World listing.
