Replacing Majestic TV on 2014 RT 31CB – Power Supply Compatibility?

Hello -

I have a 2014 Ranger Tug 31CB with the factory-installed Majestic TV. I’ve been running a new Roku stick off the USB port, but it seems like the port does not provide enough power or something else going as each time I turn the TV off, I have to reinitialize the Roku just to get it working again, so I’m thinking of moving on to a smart TV.

A few questions:
  • Has anyone replaced their original Majestic with a newer Majestic smartTV and kept the existing 12V power setup?
  • Does anyone know if that same power supply will work with other 12V smart TVs?
  • If not, I haven’t yet traced where the current power supply routes, any advice on how to access it easily?
Appreciate any insight or tips before I start taking panels apart!

Yes, replaced with a Sylvox. Used existing 12v power supply. No issues.
 
I didn't replace the TV, I just replaced the USB port near the TV with one that can support the current draw of a little soundbar and the roku stick. It was an easy fast fix. Here's what I used https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BNJ2DMTP?th=1
 
On my '15 Cutwater 26 I replaced my factory Majestic tv earlier this year with the new version https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BSTWVF7Y
All the mounting holes and input power supply remained the same. I also added a FireStick with USB power supplied by the TV. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078KSHVCS I usually output audio to the factory Fusion bluetooth stereo for better sound. Been working great and the firestick is hidden behind the tv nicely.

How are you sending the audio to the Fusion stereo? The Roku or new Majestic?
