I am considering a roof top DC DIRECT AV 12 volt 10,000 BTU unit for my R-23. Marine certified systems are slim, but available. Has anyone had success installing a similar system? Almost all call for a 14" x 14" opening and I can make a conversion my removing the forward port hatch without cutting into the roof. Running the wires to the battery seem to be the biggest challenge as we can't locate a raceway, although wires from the solar panel run across the ceiling under the teal trim.
