RT 290 RIB on a R25 dinghy lift?

Hi,

I have a RT 260 RIB that came with our R25 dinghy lift and we'd like a bigger dinghy. Anyone know if the RT 290 RIB would fit on it? Are the davit locations the same? We don't trailer the boat, so I'd guess it just stick out a little bit further than the stock dinghy. Thanks.

Hi Tom,

The spacing between the 290 yokes is 50" and the 260 is 39". It would require welding a new mounting bracket on the frame itself to attach the davits to. The dinghy would also stick out quite a bit on both sides.
