I have a 2020 RT27 OB. I filled the freshwater tank the other day and now when I turn the system on, the freshwater system pump cycles on about every 5 seconds with all the faucets off. I have checked everywhere I can think of for a system leak, but the bilge, the area under the head sink, the area where the pump itself is located under the galley sink, the hold where the water heater is located, and the mid birth area where the waterline runs forward to the head but everything is bone dry. I let the pump cycle for about 20 minutes and the tank capacity gage went down, so I know it’s pumping water out if the tank, but I cannot figure out where it’s going. Anybody have any ideas??????

Did you check the transom sink?

Also don’t forget about the transom shower, outside on the transom, starboard side. I left that cracked open once for winterizing, forgot about it .

Thanks! I checked everything.......except the transom sink! Forgot all about that sink. I didn’t use that sink but I had been using the electric grill that day and it’s possible I somehow opened the faucet a crack when I was cleaning up. I’ll check it when I can get back out to the boat! THANKS!

Hot Water heater drain valve fully seated?

Submariner, you called it.......it was the transom sink. The cold water faucet was just cracked open. I didn’t check it because I never use that sink and really forgot it was even there. Thanks!

Glad it was an easy fix. 😀
