Rudder Bonding

Had to get under the back seat and noticed that my rudder bonding had broken. Will the rudder drop to the bottom of the bay if I remove the bolt on top of the rudder shaft?

No, You can remove the bolt and washer. I think this was a common issue. I found the ground lead installed was to short and pulled out of the crimp connector. I installed a longer bonding wire.
