Run engine on land?

What do I need to run engine on land such as my driveway? 2017 R29 D4-300
Is water cooling the only concern?

I used a toilet plunger with a hose connected to it, to supply water to the intake.

I was not happy with the way the water pick up worked with the shown tool in the previous thread up against the hull. With the engine vibrating if you loose the tight fit it can mean a lack of water. Tried it once. I found it much safer and easier to close the through hull, remove the drain plug and just let the garden hose run into the strainer basket. By doing that you can safely run the inboard while on land. Been doing it this way for years with both the D-3 and now the D-4.

Even better than the strainer would be to install a flush valve like I did
