Hi everyone,
I am greatly considering the Solara S-250 Coupe in the near future as a weekend-overnight cruiser for the Puget Sound region. I was recently able to spend a good amount of time on a Ranger R-25 to get a lay of the land and an introductory feel for everything.
One thing I'm curious about is if anyone knows how the v-berth dimensions of the S-250 Coupe compare to the R-25 v-berth.
Comparing photos/3D views of them side-by-side makes me get the impression that the S-250 has slightly more room fore/aft in the V-berth, since the head door opens straight into the walkway instead of at an angle into the bed area like the R-25. But I want to make sure I'm not getting the incorrect perception and make sure it's not actually shorter than the R-25. The cushions on the S-250 nearly go straight across from port to starboard, unlike the R-25 where it's got a little v-notch cut into the cushions for clearing the door to the head.
I'm 6' 1" and with a wife and a dog, the more square footage the better for overnight sleeping.
If anyone happens to know, I'd greatly appreciate the help! Hopefully we'll get the chance to see one in person soon as well, but figured this was an easy spot to get a quick idea.
Thanks!
