Andrew,
What is changed on the dive platform? The 125 lb dink has caused the thing to droop. Looks kind of bad. I think it is fixable. Is there such a thing as stainless door stiffeners? The Mis Dee did not have that problem.
any thoughts on this matter will be appreciated.
Also I could use some of the claret red gelcoat. On the way home somewhere a rotten #$%^&*#$%^ keyed the side of my boat, plus an unmarked crab pot came up with the anchor and gave me some deeper scratches. I am going to try some rubbing compound. Might come out.

Hi Darrel,
Little Toot was delivered with some scratches and a fiberglass specialist removed them with 3M Perfect-It III Extra Cut Rubbing Compound. It is formulated for gelcoat scratch removal. Perfect-It III starts out with a coarse cutting action and then the grit breaks down into a very fine polishing compound that produces a high gloss finish. My fiberglass specialist said that this 3M product is unquestionably the best gelcoat scratch remover on the market.
I hope all goes well with Dee.

Darrel,

I think you will be surprised how much can buff out of those boats. As for the Dink I have seen a couple things happen. The warm weather comes out and softens the plastic. I would also check all the stainless supports holding it and make sure none are bent. Send me some pictures if you would. Talk to you soon!
