Salon Lighting

Today while enjoying the cockpit area on a newer 2018 R29S the interior salon Lighting was than turned on. That is only the strip LED lights not the bright white flood lights. Has anybody who did not have this flexibility change it to a separate switch? If yes please share the hows.
