Before we knew that some Tugnuts were headed this way this weekend, the crew of That's It and Rocinante (Allan, Yvonne and Fergus, formerly of Stout) made plans to head south!! We will be departing Salt Spring Island on Saturday morning with plans to stop at Anacortes for provisions, then overnight at LaConner Saturday night and head to Des Moines Marina for Sunday night. We will meet with Andrew in Des Moines on Monday where he will be installing a vital new part in That's It!!

Once the work is finished, we plan to head for Bell Harbor for at least one night to enjoy some of the sights and sounds (and tastes) of Seattle, and after that we are not sure where we will head, except that we will be spending some time in Bellingham. We are due to return to Salt Spring on Sunday June 24th.

We would love to meet up with any Tugnuts along the way, so post here, or email us directly at patrick@haywardsfuneral.com or try the cell 250 537 7722.......

We are sorry we will not be here to meet the folks that are coming North, but we will see you all soon!!

Patrick and Gail

As one of the boats heading up to the Gulf Islands, this crew is sorry we won't likely cross wakes. We'll be in Poet's Cove Friday night, and hitting Ganges (and the Farmer's market) on Saturday. We would have enjoyed hosting a happy hour when you are in Bell Harbor Marina - we're a 15 minute walk.

Have a great cruise down here. We'll catch you next time.

Cheers

Well since Gail found out that Willies Tug was in the Northbound group she had to leave town, since we now know where she works and she could not dodge us this time. 😉

Destiny will be joining Moondance and Willies tug for a cruise of the Gulf Islands this next week. You can watch our progress by logging onto our Spot link at:

Moondance is on her way to Anacortes at this time where she will meet up with Willies Tug. Both tugs will depart Anacortes tomorrow morning bound for Bedwell Harbor. Destiny will depart Shilshole at 4:00 am bound for Bedwell.

If we did not have a prior commitment tomorrow evening, we like would have headed for Poets Cove to rendezous with Destiny, Moondance and Willie's Tug..... We are so disappointed to me missing you this weekend!!!

Gail and Patrick (and I am sure Allan, Yvonne and Fergus!)

Patrick & Gail, Allan & Fergus,
It was good to see you guys Tuesday in Ganges and to share a glass of wine, we missed Yvonne. We are back at home in Anacortes, had a great time.

Hi Patrick, et al,

We're still in Anacortes and will be through the 19th. (Slight delay due to operation on Jim's hand, so we're going with the flow.) How long will you be in Anacortes on Saturday? We'd love to see you. Would you be up for lunch or dinner someplace? Also, we have a car here, so if you'd like a shuttle to/from the grocery store, let us know.

Thank you for your generous offer and we wish we could hang out for a bit in Anacortes but we are in a bit of a time crunch re distance and weather. Our stop in Anacortes will be as brief as possible....Maybe we can meet up on our return voyage! 😀

We will be in Anacortes until the 19th and then heading north. Call us if you need something! Jim

Hey Patrick and crew - the sun is pushing through the clouds and the water is flat here at Ganges Harbour. Forecast allows for a probable move to Conover Cove. Have a fine day.

Cheers,

Bruce

We are snug in at Des Moines. Only made it as far as Edmonds yesterday before the wind kicked up!! Left Edmonds at 7 this morning to beat the small craft advisory in effect starting at 11. We had postponed Andrew so he filled today with other customers and will meet us here at 8 am Tuesday. The sun is out and Patrick and Allan are doing boat jobs. So far we have managed to beat the winds by heading out early and getting to our destination before morning coffee time!!!
