Satellite Antenna?

Following up on a different thread elsewhere, but asking the factory directly:

Is a Ranger Tug sold from the factory with a KVH Tracvision dome supposed to contain a KVH Tracvision (satellite) antenna, or is this just for show?

There is an existing thread on this from a few years ago:

Most of us did not receive (and did not pay for) a Tracvision antenna. The Tracvision “dummy domes” are sold separately. You can buy one yourself from Defender for several hundred dollars. They are sold for “aesthetics” as when someone has a functioning dome on one side of their radar arch and wants to balance the look on the other side. Or, as in Fluid Motion’s case, to house other types of receivers/antennas.
