Scottfree Completes the Great Loop

Today at 15:53 in Sault Ste Marie Ontario Scottfree crossed its wake! We Trucked our 2010 R29 from Vancouver Island to Sault Ste Marie last August and launched on August 22, 2017. Our first leg was to Mobile AB where we took a two month break to fly home to see family. We continued from Mobile AB on January 15, 2018. Nearly 5500 miles through 3 Great Lakes, 9 open water crossings, over a hundred locks and a lot of beer and wine. The boat performed flawlessly and only required regular Maintenance. That said I have list of items from a 1000 hours of use that need attention. I could not be more pleased with our boat and personally recommend it for the Great Loop. Anyone ever considering this trip should just do it! It's and adventure of a life time.
