Feeling rather stupid today.

What is the secret to removing the sliding screen windows in our tugs?

And once that is done, can the screening material be replaced?
 
Lift it up and the bottom can come out. Yes they can be replaced just like regular screens. I replaced mine all with nylon screening.
 
I take them off and power wash them. They look like new. Replaced them once in 10 years. Had a screen guy do it, no problems.
