Sea of Cortez Baja MX winter 2020

Hi again from Dana & Micah in Big Sur, Ca with our (X Ranger Tug “Sequoia”) current C-Dory “Sierra”. We had planned on this trip a season or two ago, but decided to switch boats. We have spent the last year getting our new to us boat cruiser ready and again are planning a winter trip to Baja Mx. Rather than cross 80 miles across the open Sea from San Carlos mainland to the Baja side, we will be driving down the Baja Hwy as far south as Puerto Escondido/Loreto area. There is a good launching spot, safe truck & trailer storage & good starting home base point here. From there we will head south by water to La Paz. We will be crossing the US/MX border at Tecate just East of San Diego shortly after the New Year returning end of April. We are looking for another like minded cruiser to buddy boat with both on the road & water. Having cruised this area for years on our sailboat & mainland side with our Tug, we know the logistics of putting a trip like this together. Our C-Dory is the 25 cruiser, with a Suzuki 200hp outboard. We can help you thru the Mexican paperwork and any other info you might need. Please PM me to exchange contact info to chat.
