Have a Ranger R25 2023, at about 18 months the six pieces of SeaDek on the swim step all starting coming up on edges. Had the boat on the hard to have the bottom repainted at 24 months and had the company reglue edges with 3M 77 some areas coming up 6inches into each piece. About six months ago they started coming up and 4 of the pieces just lifted of the swim step. I removed five of the six pieces (except the ladder cover) with no effort they all pulled up. Cleaned the swim step and removed the adhesive backing that was stuck to the swim step non skid fiberglass surface. The back of the SeaDek was just black rubber with no adhesive on any of the pieces. Used 3M 90 this time and they are all coming up again. Any suggestions on how to get the SeaDek to adhere to the swim step?? The cockpit is enclosed in canvas since new so no issues. The Ranger is in SoCal, mild temps and we do our own topside so no abuse to the SeaDek. Have run out of ideas on how to get the SeaDek to adhere to the swim step?
