SeaKeeper for 2015 R-29 S

Hi Andrew,

I have a 2015 R-29 S and am considering adding a gyroscopic stabilizer (the seakeeper 3). Here is a link to the company's web site (and the particular model):

This is a new model, relatively light, small, and uses DC power. The question, of course, is where would it fit on the R-29 S. I was wondering if you or anyone at ranger tug had any thoughts about this? I don't have a schematic for what is under the deck though out the boat but wonder if there isn't someplace that would make sense. I am happy to discuss this by phone if that works best.

Hello Scott,

Unfortunately we have never done anything with seakeeper so this would require them to engineer and figure out how this system would be installed. Once a location for the unit is determined I would want our engineering group to review and make sure the weight of this would be ok and not affect performance a huge amount.
