The R-31S manual refers to a “Seat Sensor”. What is the function of this - and where can I find a link to the Manufacturer’s Manual?

Thank you
Claus

Look under Forum Index -> Ranger Tugs Factory Support -> Ranger Factory Technical Bulletins for manuals, schematics and other technical papers.

My guess is the “seat sensor” is referring to the switches that illuminate the red warning light at the helm when either of the cockpit seats have not been returned to their locked down position. They must be stowed before getting underway.

No joy finding manual, but your guess is probably correct.
Thanks,
Claus

I recently asked RT about the "seat sensor."

Here's the response received from Marco Arias of RT's Customer Service:

"The seat sensor is a light at the helm that turns on when the flip seats in the cockpit (integrated with the hull) are open and the ignition is on. This applies to the Cutwater 30."
