Hi all,
Has anyone had to replace toilet seat in head. I cannot access the 2 bolts that go through bowl to secure nuts underneath bowl.
Thanks,
G

I used a metal coat hanger about 6-8 inches. First, using some needle nose pliers bent one end around the retention bolt from the new seat for sizing. Approx 2-3 inches from that bent a 90 then another couple inches a slight bend about 45. Was able to “roll” it around the back edge and placed it on the bolt on the underside (it was plastic) loosened it up, then carefully removed it from the underside. Reversed the process to get the bolt threads started. Tightened it up and removed the wire set up. Still have it for future use.

Still don’t know how you were able to access the undercarriage nut side to tighten onto bolt . There is no through hole access where nut is supposed to to attach.

Had to replace mine on the C30, just need to remove the mounting bolts on the bottom that hold the head to the floor. Then you can tip/slide the head just far enough forward to reach around the back to loosen the nuts off and remove the broken seat/cover and install the new one.

Thank you full of fish. Thought might be the way just wasn’t sure about how much play in the plumbing allowed that procedure
