The virtual boat show is going on now for the Seattle Boat Show. Entry prices start at $5 n go up, depending on what what you want to participate in. It’s a great way to view all the Fluid Motion boats, in addition to seminars, accessories, etc. in a one stop website. It takes a bit to become oriented, for me anyway, but after a little time the navigation became easier. If interested go to http://www.seattleboatshow.com

Casting my vote here to Fluid Motion and Ranger Tugs for having the coolest virtual booth at the show! I logged on to the show last night and made my way easily to the Ranger Tugs booth; the virtual experience at the dock in Des Moines is a very clever and fun way to have to do this years show on line.

Nice work Fluid Motion crew!

Lots of great work went into creating virtual UX and it's very reminiscent of a real show... although nothing compares to the real show... miss that new boat/resin smell 🙂 Hopefully next year will be different but for now virtual is as close as one can get to reality. Agreed, FM for this show did what they do with their boats - provided streamlined, meaningful, and relevant experience for lurkers like me. Live chat helps a lot - thank you FM team! Although, could not find FM Cutwater booth but it's probably just me being lost in a virtual world. 😀

One thing I do like about the virtual show is I can watch any or all of the seminars without going back multiple days!

Good show overall and Ranger Tugs wins for best content, including its complete line-up presentation, videos and virtual tours. Cutwater is less easily found on the showroom floor since it's behind their dealer sites. Some of the competitor manufacturers don't have a good web presence to start with, and added nothing to their show booth, which is disappointing. So many others put up the "call for price" banner which is a real turn-off. The other turn-off is the sticker shock on boats much less well equipped than our Tugs, proving again that RT provides the best value for the cruising boat owner. Several of the seminars have been worthwhile. We're just glad to have the Boat Show tradition continue, at least in this distance learning format.

Your tug never gave you a sticker shock? lol
