Feeling a little déjà vu?

Bring out your best photo for this month’s forum-wide photo contest! Our theme this month is “Seeing Double.” Have you ever cruised a lake so still that you could see a plane in the sky while looking down? Or maybe you came across an inlet where a mountain was perfectly mirrored in the water. Submit your best photo of reflective waters for this month's photo contest!

To enter the contest, reply to this post with your photo, boat model, and a description about what's going on to accompany it. One photo/entry per user. The Photo Contest will be open until 8:00 AM PST on 4/27/2026. After all the submissions have been collected, factory personnel will vote on the winner.

One winner for each brand will be selected (Ranger Tugs, Cutwater, or Solara) and will win a $100 gift card to Boxer-Bay.com, the official Fluid Motion merch store, and get their winning photo proudly displayed on he Tugnuts homepage and Fluid Motion social media accounts!

Please Note:
This thread is for contest submissions only; replies which do not submit a picture for the contest will be moderated and promptly deleted. Once voting has started, you are not allowed to edit your entry.

This is a shot of our friends in Alexandra in Roscoe Inlet, BC on an amazingly calm morning with a reflection of an amazing sky. That’s right, the photo is upside down!

I shot this on a paddle trip to Long Lake in Maine in 2005. Lots of fish, lots of moose, lots of fog!

At anchor in Roscoe Bay Provincial Park in Desolation Sound - July 6, 2023.

A clear quiet night in Kingston the day before Thanksgiving. The perfect reflection only ruined by the finger of the neighboring slip. The first night of our longest trip to date, until we leave on Easter Sunday for a 6 night adventure visiting Edmonds, Victoria, Sidney, and Seattle (to watch the M's) before returning to Olympia.

Booker Lagoon in the Broughtons. There is tidal rapids so only 2 times per day you can enter or leave. We had the whole place to ourselves. Even caught some nice spot shrimps and watched the black bears from our anchorage. May 2025 in our Solara S310

Moxie snuggled into her berth at night on a remote part of the Rideau Canal in Canada. Couldn’t help wondering if the folks in the cottage saw Moxie in Double Vision like we saw the cottage in Double Vision? Moxie traveled hundreds of miles from home. It was also around a hundred locks as we chose to retrace our steps to have a double look at the lovely scenery along the historic canal.

Turn it upside Down and see if you can tell which is the boat and which is the reflection.

Last June, Avellana happened to be at Shearwater BC with Red Raven and Alexandra (we also saw Annie Time!). A few days later, we were anchored in Eucott Bay at the same time. This is a beautiful evening photo of Red Raven and Alexandra rafted together, taken from our Avellana. Most amazing trip to beautiful country.

Even in the city you can find beauty on the water. Three Tree point on the way home from Des Moines fuel dock.
