Service in Kitsap area?

This is a great community and pretty much everything I’ve learned about my tug I’ve learned here.

I have been looking for a shop/mechanic to do a certified yearly maintenance on the Volvo in my 29s as well as fix a couple issues including with steering. I’ve contacted several places but it seems hard to even get a call back. It’s not really possible to get down to Tacoma barring hiring a trailer, but if that’s the only option I’d take it.

Anyone have a recommendation for a Volvo certified mechanic? Ideally mobile?

I use Nikos Passas of passasmarine@yahoo.com.

He is a local mechanic domiciled on Bainbridge Island and is highly recommended. He did the first annual oil and filter change on on our 2019 R-31 S in Eagle Harbor Marina and as part of that service he checked belts and other mechanical systems.

P.S. there are no “Volvo certified mechanics” in Kitsap county, but that is just a moniker that any mechanic apparently can get if they pay Volvo a fee.

You might try La Conner Maritime Services at 360-466-3629 as they have Certified Volvo engine technicians. You could motor up to La Conner and have them do the work while you hang out in La Conner or they may opt to travel to your boat that would involve a travel fee.

I have used Sea Marine in Port Townsend. They are Volvo Certified and can handle any need.
