Severe Sun Wax

I've used Prizm and Mirage the last two years on my blue hull that is exposed to the elements year round. Prizm is not a cure all, my hull starts to oxidize a few months after application. I've applied the Mirage as directed and months later.
I recently had the Prizm Rep look at the boat in FL, he said I have to start with the Prizm again to remove the oxidatation.
Prizm works great on all the Stainless on the boat.
This season I'm going to try the Collonite wax and see how that does.
Everyone seems to love a blue hull boat, for me it's turned out to be a royal blue P.I.A.

I'll try the Prizm first, if that doesn't cut it I have some Presta compound that I've used before. I'll then use the Collonite.

I will report back on how the Glare product works. The boat will be outside from Mid April till November. It will spend most of this summer between Lake Superior and Lake Pepin (Mississippi River) Not exactly Florida or the Bahamas! But it will be exposed to the sun the whole time.

Well we are not in Florida but our boat does sit in the sun on the water roughly from June through September. About once a month I reapply a spray coat of 303 Protectant on the brow. So far so good. 303 does have UV protector in it. Maybe someone else has been using it for a longer period of time that can comment on its performance?

As to the so called eye brows, I have wondered about sanding with 600 and then spraying with a spray can of clear coat. Has anyone tried this ?

Rwnorton asked how the Honda Glare products are working out.
I buffed and polished it February 2015. The boat was outside from March or April 2015 to November 2015. Spent most of its time between Lake Superior and the upper Mississippi River. It went outside again in February 2016 - spent 2 months in Florida and now we are on Lake Michigan. The color looked reasonable up until about a month go. It now looks as bad as it did before I buffed it out and polished with Glare product. It appears that it would need to be done every year to maintain a shine. I think I will try Collonite this next winter. Seems that it will be a once a year project no matter what I use.

I gave up entirely on the gel-coated brow and painted it. The brow is easily removed on a 21EC with a few screws then working the adhesive sealant loose. After prepping, I painted it with Interlux Perfection. It came out nice and, overall, a fairly easy fix.
