Severn Ontario questions

I’m trailering to Severn Ontario later this summer to cruise the Trent Severn and I’m looking for local knowledge or from those with personal experience on a few items. I’m looking for a marina as close to Severn as possible to spend the first night, a launch ramp at the marina or close by and the same for truck and trailer storage. Obviously I can and have looked up information but first hand knowledge is best.

I stored the truck and trailer at Starport Marina Severn - Phone number is 705-325-3775. They are also an operating marina. It worked out well for us. I was able to get a one way car from enterprise. My trip was the REDO from Ottawa and ending in Severn.

Thanks Mike, I’ll check that out. In addition I’ve learned about Driftwood Cove Marina and Resort, close to Severn.

We are planning on traversing the Trent this September, after the Waterford Tugboat roundup. It would be great to share information on conditions and recommendations! If the timing is right, you should check out the Waterford (NY) round-up - it’s a hoot! Old tugs, new tugs, fireworks, even a few rangers!
