Has anyone else had an issue with their shore power access? I know that the power supply from the dock is operating properly. On board, the shore power switch is in the proper "up" position. But no "juice" on board other than battery power.Maybe it's the shore power cord itself?

How do you 'know' the shore power outlet is working?

I had a problem with my inverter and it wasn't passing the power through .. If you have an inverter
A new inverter fixed that problem

Did u check your #1 side main breaker? Mine is under the seat in cockpit. It sometimes trips and would show your symptom. I have also experienced the failed inverter as well

Did you check the status lights on the inverter?
What year is your boat? On later models there are additional GFI breakers in the stern right after the shore power feed to the inverter.
Are you getting 110V if you disconnect shore power and use the inverter?

Thanks for the responses everyone. I've tried three different power supply boxes from three different docks, so that's not the issue. The boat is a 29' 2012 model.

Knotflying and I are talking about same breaker.

Problem solved! On my 29', in the stern below the bait well is a ELCI 30amp breaker switch. (who knew?!) It had been tripped. Flipped it back to correct position and all seems well now. Thanks to all who chimed in. Hope someone finds this info helpful someday.

Someone will for sure ("find this info helpful"), at least if they can do a basic search. That is the joy of the information we all share on this forum!

Wonder what tripped it.

Those breakers are sensitive. Anything could trip them, a spike or drop in power can do it also. At our rendezvous in Newport a big boat docked and plugged in and the next thing you know the R-29 across from it lost their power. Once the breaker was reset all was good.
