The R31 comes with two lucite panels hungagainst the aft wall of the head....does anyone have the trick to make them easy to move into position..sometimes they go easily sometimes not any thoughts ? cfnico

We have a 31CB. The slots were not vertically long enough so we extended them with a Dremel tool. But there was still a gap between the two panels when hung. So, after a week, we retired the panels, put up some Command hooks, bought a shower curtain, trimmed its length, installed curtain hooks, and have been using this setup now for three weeks and like it. When finished, we gather the curtain hooks in groups of 5 and hang the curtain on larger Command hooks on the empty wall and we're done. The entire room is protected.

On my C30 the plexi panels rubbed the bottom of the bottom guides. They should hang (float) and not rub the bottom. Turns out there was a period where the bottom guides were not fabricated correctly. At the factory's direction, 1/4" was cut off the plexiglass bottom. Now I can slide them, but they are reasonably stiff still. To test if you have this condition, try to place a small nylon tie under the door as you slide the plexi around. If there is no gap, this could be part of the problem. The doors should hang or float at the bottom similar to a sliding door in your house. It should only be guided by the bottom track, not rest on it.

Ditto for Willie's Tug. Willie could never get them off or on, and I cussed a lot doing it. So command hooks and nice shower curtain works for us also.

While there is a slight learning curve to mounting and dismounting the panels, once learned they are easy to use. Two puzzle pieces. My wife and I have found these very easy to use and effective at keeping shower water contained while making sgueegy clean-up a breeze. Next best thing to a stand alone shower stall. Can't stand shower curtains, slow to dry and mildew / mold generators, not to mention the "stick to your body" state they generally take when in use. We have found the panels to be innovative and functional, and after patience through the learning curve very easy to use.
