The Side Power Controller on Ladybug, Too was a victim of a lightning strike. Try U S Thrusters for a good price on a replacement if needed. Mine was the dual joy stick version. Incidently, the electronic interface module on the forward thruster also took a hit. The interface lists at $130.00 and the joy stick lists for about $530.00 but you can find a better price. If you can give me some symptons and what you have tried so far, I may be able to help you confirm that it is the controller. I pretty much memorized the wiring and operation of mine before I got it running again. I had a low voltage issue too that was related to improper grounding at the thruster battery (my bad). The interface module contains one amp internal fusing and when it goes the thruster goes.

I replaced my Stern thruster control unit last year. Andrew gave me the phone number to a Side Power rep. After calling, he sent a trouble shooting guide to confirm it was the control unit. (Contact me via pm and I'll e-mail guide if you don't have it.) Once we confirmed it was control unit, he gave me a special Ranger Tug price and promptly mailed the item. ( Still wasn't cheap but it took some of the sting.). Sorry I can't find his number but hopefully Andrew can help.
